Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Fridge ("we", "us") for use of the Fridge website and app (the "Service"). This is a serviceable draft for our early beta; by using the Service you agree to it. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Using the Service

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Fridge.
  • You're responsible for your account and for the activity that happens under it. Keep your sign-in secure.
  • Use the Service lawfully. Don't misuse it, disrupt it, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or use it to infringe others' rights.

Beta software

Fridge is early-stage software offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the Service may be unavailable at times. Don't rely on it as your only record of important information.

Connected services

You may connect third-party services such as Google and, through SimpleFIN, your financial accounts. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms, and you authorize Fridge to access the data needed to provide the features you enable. How we handle that data is described in our privacy policy. You can disconnect a service at any time.

Your content

The information you add and the data we retrieve on your behalf remain yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display that data so the Service can function. We don't claim ownership of it.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and Fridge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the Service. Fridge is not a financial adviser; balances and transactions shown are for convenience and may be delayed or inaccurate.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if needed to protect the Service or its users.
